Our treatments include

  • Osteopathy: This includes soft tissue massage of the body’s muscles, joints and bones to treat injuries and ailments that occur during sport, work and daily life. The body massage aims to manipulate the afflicted part of the body and provide relief from pain.
  • Dry Needling: Dry needling is the practise of inserting hollow-core hypodermic needles or acupuncture needles into the meridians of the body in order to treat muscle pain. This includes pain related to myofascial pain syndrome.
  • Remedial Massage: The systematic analysis and treatment of the body’s muscles, ligaments, connective tissues and tendons. This is done in order to create injury management and rehabilitation for athletes and individuals.
  • Deep Tissue Massage: A practise that is similar to that of Swedish massage, however deeper pressure is applied to the muscles in order to relieve chronic tension. There is a greater emphasis on treating the deepest layer of muscles, as well as the fascia (protective coating of the muscles) and tendons.
  • Trigger Point Therapy: The trigger point is a location in a particular muscle tissue whose tension is causing pain throughout other areas of the body. Trigger point therapy aims to treat the area of muscle tissue causing widespread pain in the body, thus alleviating the pain caused throughout the body as a whole.
  • Sports Injury Massage: Treatment of specific injuries relating to sports, including that of strains and sprains. This type of massage is also used to treat trigger points in muscular tissue that has been caused by sporting injury.
  • Pregnancy Massage: Seen as a great aspect of prenatal care, pregnancy massage aims to alleviate the stress and discomfort of pregnancy, as well as promoting overall health and wellbeing for the mother. Pregnancy massage treats pain associated with pregnancy including headaches, leg cramps and stiff neck.
  • Cupping: A form of medicinal treatment that incorporates the use of cups on the skin to create a suction sensation. Cupping can help the body with blood flow, inflammation and pain associated with sports, work and daily life.
